When i thought of the idea for this pillow, i wanted it to be simple yet pretty. i wanted it to go with my room so i thought of having purple tie-dye. i thought that a simple love heart and flower would go with my room. i would have used dark purple material for my love heart and a lighter purple for my flowers. i choose those colours because they go well with my room. Some techniques i would have used would have been tie-dye, applique and hand sowing.Tools i would have used is a sowing machine, iron, cotton, pins, scissors and a tie-dyeing pack.
Idea 2. For idea 2 i wnated to make it a but different and get rid of the flowers. i decided that i didnt like them very much and should just stick to the one love heart. I thought that having one love heart would have been way to simple and too boring, so i thought about sowing a piece of dark purple material onto the pillow and putting the love heart one that. I would have hand sown the material to make it look more decorative. I also would have stuck 4 buttons in the corners of the stitch work.
Idea 3. After looking at idea 2 i thought that i wanted something a bit easier for me. So i thought i should do my name. it would have suited well with my room and its not to busy. I am going to sow 4 buttons in the corner of the pillow. the actual pillow is going to be tie-dyed purple. The lettering of my name is going to be in a lighter purple. the colours will go great in my room too.
